EPM Iowa pays a $250 referral fee for every door (unit) referred that results in a signed property management contract. Whether your client owns a single-family rental home or a multi-unit apartment complex, your referral fee scales with the size of the portfolio.

Referring a client to EPM Iowa takes less than five minutes. Here is the process from start to payment:
Complete the referral form on this page. You will provide your contact information, your Broker's information, and your client's basic details. That is all we need to get started.
Our property management team will contact your client promptly and professionally to discuss their needs, walk them through our services, and answer any questions they have.
Once your client is ready to move forward, we finalize a property management agreement with them. You will be notified when this step is complete.
Upon contract signing, EPM Iowa issues a $250 per door referral fee to your Broker of Record. Your Broker distributes your portion to you per your brokerage agreement.

The $250 per door referral fee is processed and paid to your Broker of Record once your referred client signs a property management contract with EPM Iowa. There is no waiting period beyond that — we issue payment promptly upon contract execution.
Iowa real estate law requires that referral fees be paid to the licensed Broker under whom you practice. Your Broker will then distribute your portion to you according to your individual brokerage agreement. This is standard practice across the industry and ensures full regulatory compliance for everyone involved.
Our Non-Compete Guarantee means that EPM Iowa will never solicit or pursue future real estate transactions — including sales, purchases, or listings — with any client you refer to us. We are a property management company, and that is where our focus stays. If a referred client ever expresses interest in selling their property, we will refer them back to you. We are happy to confirm this commitment in writing upon request.
Absolutely. We manage single-family homes, duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes, and larger multi-unit complexes throughout Eastern Iowa. You earn $250 for every individual door that is included in the signed management contract. A 10-unit building, for example, would generate a $2,500 referral fee.
No problem. We will nurture the relationship professionally and keep you informed. There is no expiration on your referral — if the client eventually signs a management contract with EPM Iowa, the referral fee is still yours.
